My name is Kristy Semonella.
I know this is the first time we are meeting so let me introduce myself.
When I came to Body Image Fitness in March of 2017, the company was going through a major transition....
And I was coming in, as the “new kid on the block”.

I was 15lbs over weight.
Right before coming to Body Image I was working 2 jobs as a licensed massage therapist and training clients long hours in a big box gym.
I was struggling to make myself a priority which caused that 15lb weight gain.
Truth be told, this wasn’t the first time in my life where I had struggled with weight gain.
Although I have been in the health and fitness industry for 20 years, I have found myself struggling over the years.
I remember being at one of the local gyms one day working out..
This guy comes up to me and says “ I’ve been watching you come in here and train and you look good but….”
You really need to work on your arms.
He then asked if I wanted him to show me how to lose the fat on the back of my arm.
I was mortified. First of all, who asked you??
Second of all, A$$hole.
And although he was rude, I think one of the reasons it stung so bad was because I knew it was true.
